BLOOMBERG

"Like many Americans, Gladys Estolas began trading stocks on the Robinhood app when the pandemic descended this year and kept her stuck at home. Estolas, who majored in graphic design at college, drew illustrations on her stock charts to show her husband the scenery she saw within the price lines."

THE NEXT WEB

"Depending on who you ask, the stock market is either fascinating or painfully dull — but one artist is turning charts into aesthetic vaporwave prints to bridge the gap. Stoxart is the work of Gladys, a self-described visual insights innovator mixing data with art to capture 2020’s monumentally volatile markets."

COLOSSAL

"The Hillsboro, Oregon-based artist, who’s been sharing her landscapes on Instagram, tells Colossal that much of her inspiration comes from living in the Pacific Northwest..."

THE HUSTLE

"Meet our new favorite art project. It’s called @stoxart, and it’s run by a designer who makes 2020’s batsh*t market trends easier on the eyes.

Hello,

I'm Gladys, the Artist.

Stoxart was born with the desire to share my love of Art & my new interest of the Stock Market.

While browsing through my trading portfolio - instead of looking for stocks to invest in, I developed a keen interest in their stock performance. The more volatile the better it looked, to me.

What better way to commemorate your investments, than to hang them on your wall.
